About us
Founded in 1946, we're a volunteer-run, politically impartial association serving over 500 households in Stoke D'Abernon and the surrounding area.
A message from our Chairman
Welcome to the Stoke D’Abernon Residents’ Association. We’re a small team of volunteers: our Secretary, Alison Kilby, our Treasurer, Garret Guilfoyle, myself, and more than ten road representatives across the village.
The committee meets every couple of months in the Village Hall on Station Road, and we do what we can to make Stoke D’Abernon a better village for everyone who lives, works and visits here. Importantly, we are politically impartial.

Working for you
Planning
Monitoring planning applications and making representations where appropriate.
Safety
Liaising with the councils, police and neighbouring residents' groups to keep the village safe.
Environment
Improving the village by planting trees and bulbs, organising social events and introducing local initiatives.
Information
Keeping residents informed through our meetings, seasonal newsletters, email updates and this website.

Our history
The Association was founded in 1946 to serve the village of Stoke D'Abernon and its immediate neighbourhood, a community of over 500 households.
We produce two newsletters a year, plant trees and bulbs, and organise the popular Christmas Lights event.
