The Local Plan Consultation was approved by the Council this week and will be commencing on Aug 19th. We know our area (Cobham, Stoke d’Abernon, Oxshott) is particularly targeted by 3 out of the 5 options which propose to build on Green Belt. So this Local Plan will have a potential huge impact on everyone in our area.
A series of public meetings will be held at the Elmbridge Council building in Esher – the one targeted for our area is Sept 2nd at 19.00. We need to demonstrate our opposition to building on Green Belt and so would ask everyone to register for this meeting.
