Former MINI showroom
Permission has been given to Challenge Fencing to develop and operate from this site. An issue may be potential extra traffic including deliveries by lorries.
Chatterbus
Outside the MINI site is a bus stop where you can catch the half-hourly C1 or C3 bus to Cobham at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour. Back from Cobham High Street at 03 and 33 minutes past the hour. Cost £2 each way, avoid “parking anxiety” and reduce emissions. See Chatterbus website for timetables and useful tracker showing where the bus is.

This is likely to have a big impact on local traffic through Stoke D’Abernon and Cobham for the next 3 years.

Elmbridge Draft Local Plan – consultation
The council has published its draft local plan which includes house-building targets. Following huge pressure from residents, the plan seeks to preserve the Green Belt but this might mean more house-building on “brownfield sites”, such as gardens. The council is inviting residents to participate in its consultation process.
The representation period started on 17 June 2022 and ends at 4pm on 29 July 2022.
You can read the Draft Local Plan online at https://consult.elmbridge.gov.uk/connect.ti/reg19/consultationHome?
or alternatively you can view hard copies which are available at the Civic Centre (High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD) between 8.45am and 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.45am-4.45pm on Friday, or at Cobham Library.
